Welcoming in the summer

Well itspring and you know what that means: Where officailly past the drek weeks of the new year. And as much as you all will miss such great movies as Racing stripes when watching this summmer's movie you'll forget all about it.



Good

House of D
While im pretty sure
no one has heard of it
it sounds interesting. Small
antisocial child with alchoholic dad
(played by robin Williams) seeks refuge
with local prisoners. written by David Duchovny
although he gives no performance(Thank god.).

House of wax
Ok yeah House of wax is easy to critisize:
its about a bunch of teenagers who find
a creepy town, more gore than story and
Paris Hilton but unlike drek of this genre
(jeepers creepers any wes craven movie)this
one looks genuinley scary, with a little talent
it could be a decent popcorn movie.

Kicking and screaming
Wow Will Ferrel is all over the place. First he
was in flawed but fun Anchorman:The Legend of Ron
Burgendy, than he was Woody Allen's protogee in
melinda and melinda and nows he's in a hilarious role
as the coach of his son's soccer team. Sign up soon.

Layer cake
It's been a while since we've seen Hugh Grant and
now he's come back to play....a Ganster???! It's
far beyond weird but a little charm could go a
long way for this.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith
What happens when the bourne Identity gets mixed
with a quirky britsh style comedy? You get something
hard to pull off but worth it if it works. And lets hope
it dose So the name Anjelina Jollee no longer means
crappy movie.

Dark Water
And you thought it was safe to buy a condo with nobody
around for miles and an upstairs that leaks...ok so no
you didnt i bet you also didnt think that the writing of
the man behind the ring couldnt be translated into a scary
masterpeice. will it did and it is. just..dont buy the condo.

a Scanner darkly
While keanu reeves seems trapped in the matrix this movie should
do fine with its richard linklater style and Phillip K. Dick
reference material to fall back on, just dont look for it any time
soon. this baby come out all the way in 2006.

XXX:State of the union
well its back: except for theres
no Vin Deisel and now theres Ice Cube.
Expect race joke cliches and a comissioner
who needs to stop pretending he's Larence
Fishburne.



Monster in law
Its got Jalo in it. which is reason
enough to duck and run for cover.


Fantastic 4
Marvel has been having a lot of
this trouble getting comics to the big screen
and this remake of a movie that was
raved one of the worst of its time
dosent look any better.

Kingdom of heaven
War fanatics have experienced a
rash of war movie drek(alexander
im looking at you) so this dosent
look very promosing.


What the heck happened to...
A sound of thunder? Based on the short story by Rad Bradbury this movie was slated for october last year but for some reason the director pushe its realease(and the realese of its many videogame counterparts) to december. Again the movie did not show. Luckily it has found a new realease date: summer.
