BBBOOORRING!
in this movie tom habks is stranded in an airport for 9 months. From reading this you would think i would feel sorry for him but this movie takes about twice as long to finish. While the trailer promised an intricate and meaningful story the only meaning i can derive from this faiure is that steven Speilberb need 3 grand to buy a new ivory backscratcher. The story is such Victour Navorsky(Hanks) finds himself trapped in JFK airport... and thats about it. Sure catherine Zeta Jones has a Role(and acting so uneven halfway through the movie i wondered if she had an evil twin.) and victor once tries to find a job but its way to meaningless and vague to spark enthuseasm. When Victor finally leaves the Airport you dont even care seeing as how neither victor nor any of his pals ever go beyond their own wafer thin personalities. Besides everything from slow start to bitter unfulffilling ending is just plain boring. if your looking for a romantic interesting way to kill some time either: Buy pretty Woman, rent Maid in Manhattan, or watch the grass in your backyard grow.
