It now offical: writers are running out of fresh roles for ol' Denzel. of course there are always new milestones for one to break, but for every great acheivment comes a quick B-movie cash in like this. Denzel Washington plays a cop having an affair with an abused friend. soon she is fond dead and he is a prime suspect, que the aray of scared people, plot twist, and lots of shooting. Sadly Time gets all of these thing fabulously wrong. Denzel is the only worthe actor in this bunch, everyone else seems like they care as much as the audience(Which is to say not much at all.) and the one who does bring emotion to the table sounds like shes been runnig in a 5 mile marathon. (gasp, i, gasp, gasp, love you, gasp, Denzel.). the plot twists are insanely predictable and the one major one is unexpalined and feels rushed, and the action is way palyed down and out of place when the bullets fly. while this movie is insanely short(about 90 something minutes) but you'll still want it to end halfway through due to grueling pace and just plain bordeom. it wont ruin your faith in the big man or stop his ability to turn out dozens of movies a year and make millions of dollars but it may show that may of those movies wont be exactly oscar worthy.
